Film makers Jill Beardsworth & Keith Walsh will be in the Cuan Beo Marquee to discuss their film ‘When all is ruin once again’. Awarded Best Cinematography in an Irish Feature at last year’s Galway Film Fleadh, and Best Feature Film at the Kerry Film Festival 2018, ‘When All Is Ruin Once Again’ highlights the power of film in conveying the environmental message and presents an unforgettable picture of a moment in time in the West of Ireland during the opening years of the 21st century.

Sunday commences with a talk about Boatbuilding with Coilin Hernon, with an Oyster Flat bottom boat being on display. Then we have the highly anticipated session with Gerry O’Halloran of Redbank Food and Diarmuid Kelly of Kelly Oysters who are going to tell us everything we need to know about Oysters.
Ollie Tully of the Marine Institute will be updating us on the important Native Oyster Restoration Project and scientist Simon Berrow will enthral about Whales and Dolphins around Ireland.
There will also be a cookery demo at the ‘Taste the Atlantic’ Kitchen as well as our Rockpool Aquarium which is open throughout the day. Local community groups and agencies including the Waters & Communities Office, Plastic Free Kinvara, as well as SeaSynergy from Kerry will be in the marquee throughout the weekend.
